Before you're measured
Questions
Why does it take eight weeks?
Three fittings, two to three weeks apart, and the hand sewing between them. Each fitting corrects something a ready-made suit would get wrong.
Can you do it faster?
Six weeks at the most, with the fittings closer together and a little more of your time. Below that there isn't time for three fittings, and we would rather say so.
How much is a suit?
A two-piece starts at $1,450 in our house cloths; a cloth from the book adds between $200 and $600. You know the total before we cut.
Do I pay up front?
Half when you choose the cloth, the rest at collection.
Are alterations really free for life?
Yes, on anything we made. Weight changes, a new trouser length for different shoes, a lining that has worn through.
Do you alter clothes you didn't make?
Yes. Walk in; most alterations are ready within a week and priced when we pin them.
